🌟 Tribute to Arlene – With Respect and Gratitude
At Arlene’s retirement party, our Mission Self Advocacy Group celebrated a person who has given so much of herself to us. Arlene is now retired, but her impact will always stay alive in our group.
Arlene stood beside us — not in front of us — and that quote says everything about who she is. She supported us through hard times and good times. She helped us with projects, guided us with patience, and made sure every voice in our group was heard.
Arlene cared deeply. She put love, detail, and time into everything she did for us. She taught us how to stay organized, how to keep documents for our history, and how to find what we needed to move forward. Because of her, our group is stronger, more confident, and more connected.
Her legacy is something we will keep alive. We look back with respect and gratitude, and we move forward carrying what she taught us.
